I read the report, it looks really promising. the basic concept is born in the original EM drive. Both waves are em-waves. Light can be steered and controlled by the fibers. and can be feed by solar panels.

The more i see the design of Tajmar and Diaz, the more i think: its too flat to have proper results.

Why not Wrap fibers around a rounded and truncated cone?

this might multiply the effect.

Wel you can fiddle with all kind of shapes, mcCulloch still uses a crude base design for experimental reasons, but its far from a usefull engine.

For instance; the first transistor was clumsy at first, but the moment they realised the versality of it, they abandoned the vacuum tubes.

A more entrepeneur approach might be a smart move IMHO.

I was thinking about this device, and came to the conclusion that a solid state version would be possible. Lightwaves have a smaller bandwidth than microwaves, and can be integraded into a device the size of a powerled. The bandwidth of light is around 380 nm - 761 nm. while microwaves are a lot bigger, about a mm until a half meter. The size of these devices can make it able to combine them in a array. So there are lots of benefits of the Photon loop drive.

I have the feeling that Spatial coherence could be enhancing this Photon loop drive even more. Als the waves are now bouncing around the loop and more or less following the bandwith of the wave, so it could be usefull to experiment with re-exitation of the waves in the loop, so create a after-stimulation of the waves. Bend them in stable paths, and see if you gain thrust.
